My students are eager to make a difference in the world. They want to be challenged. They want to have a safe, positive environment to excel. These students come from a high poverty school and many of them do not have parents to go home to each night. We are determined not to let their misfortune stop them from achieving all of their goals. There is a deficiency in identifying gifted and talented students that represent the low-social economical population. These students deserve a chance in the gifted and talented program and to be successful.

About my class
