This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request to support a cause that can make a significant difference in the lives of high school students who require special accommodations. My goal is to provide these students with an essential tool - an iPad - to help them access notes before the lesson begins to achieve academic success.

In our local high school, we have a remarkable group of students who face challenges such as visual impairments, learning disabilities, and other conditions that require accommodations in their educational environment.

These students possess a strong work ethic and a sheer determination to overcome obstacles, but they need our support to level the playing field.

By acquiring an iPad for these students, we can empower them to obtain notes and study materials. With this technology, they will be able to:

Access digital textbooks and supplementary materials, enabling them to prepare thoroughly for lessons.

Utilize note-taking apps and digital organizers to take detailed notes during classes, ensuring they don't miss any crucial information.

Create a digital notebook where they can easily track find vital resources for their lessons.

Every student deserves equal access to education, and together, we can make that a reality for these exceptional students. Let's empower them to excel and reach their full potential. Thank you for your generosity and compassion.
