We began using them right away to connect real-life money lessons to our band program. Students worked in small groups to create mock budgets for upcoming performances and trips, practicing how to plan expenses and prioritize needs just like real musicians and event planners.\r\n\r\nTheir reactions were priceless many couldn't believe how fun and hands-on budgeting could be! They loved seeing how financial literacy ties into their responsibilities as band members.\r\n\r\nNext, students will take what they've learned to plan and manage our next fundraiser. They'll set savings goals, track progress, and reflect on what it takes to make financial decisions as a team. The availability of charging stations has not only increased their engagement but has also encouraged them to participate actively in discussions and collaborative projects.\r\n\r\nWith the power strips in place, we have achieved 100% engagement and zero distractions in class.
