This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is in the central valley of California. Our school is a Title I school, meaning that 100% of my students receive free or reduced price lunch everyday. My students come from all walks of life. My classroom is full of eager learners who are ready to take the leap and learn how to read.

As a teacher, I have been blessed with a diverse group of students who are willing and eager to learn. My kids deserve to be college and career ready as well as 21st century students. I am determined to make it happen, especially during this pandemic.

My Project

These notebooks worked so well to get my students organized to start off our school year that we would like to continue with our good organizational habits. These notebooks will help keep my students' notes and homework together in one place. They will use these notebooks to take notes, make graphic organizers and keep their subjects neatly color coordinated.

I believe that organization will continue to be the key to my students' success.

Getting organized will prepare my students for the future. By practicing organization skills, students can find their materials and notes when they need them. Students are less stressed when they can easily find their materials when the need them.
