Not Just Safe but Fun Too.

Help me give my students a safe and fun learning environment by helping me organize my classroom to make cleaning easier. The printer/copier will help me provide instant handouts for students that missed school. Finally, engaging science lessons.

My Students

I have 34 incredible 5th-grade students. Although we live in a rural area with a large proportion of these students eligible for free or reduced lunch, these students are enthusiastic learners. Already this year, a third of these students have completed the 5th-grade level ALEKS math program and are working on 6th-grade math concepts.

I would love to offer the students engaging science lessons as well.

They really need to feel excited about coming to school. I would really love to see attendance be what it was pre-Covid.

My Project

The hooks, and "Tack It", will help me keep my classroom organized for easy disinfecting and cleaning. The laminator will allow me to clean materials between use. The printer/copier will allow me to make quick copies of handouts for students that have missed school without me having to leave my class unattended.

Providing engaging science lessons can be very expensive.

So the other items are hands-on activities to help students feel more engaged and excited about coming to school. As the students observe the Living Log and dissect the owl pellets, they will experience firsthand what scientists do. They will also gain a better understanding of how ecosystems function. They will get a real kick out of the lessons. Help me provide a safe and fun environment for my students.
