My Project

My kindergarten students just finished their fourth month of school. They have learned so many new things and grown in so many ways. I can't wait to see what the rest of the school year holds for them.

This project is for nonfiction books for our classroom library.

My students love learning about the world around them - famous people, animals, plants, the environment. This project is for books that give them nonfiction information about the topic. These books will be used in addition to our science curriculum to provide a literacy connection to science. Also, these books will be helpful in teaching students about nonfiction text features like photographs, diagrams, headings and captions.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
