My Students

We do not have much space to put anything. Our materials seem to be all over the place.

We are a high school in Brooklyn.

Most of the students come from middle schools around the neighborhoods. Our school is very small and is in need of quite a bit as many schools in NYC are. With the little that we have, our students still work very hard for success. We have a mixed demographic group such as Asians, African-Americans, Caribbean and Latino students.

My Project

The students have to do labs to go along with their science lessons but we have very limited space. We have our lab and lecture in the same room with cramped space. The materials that we have are very disorganized. If we had a cabinet, the students would have a place to put their resources and pack away their labs after they are finished.

We don't have space to store labs and the students are finding it difficult.

Having the cabinet will make it easier for them since they could pack away and label their materials. The cabinet will help us organize the things that we have.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
