My Students

My twenty-six fifth grade students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They are hard-working and show a thirst for knowledge that I love seeing at our school. For example, each year we do a Patriotic Program showing our deep love of our country. This year we will be able to use technology to help make our program even better.

I know that they will be the future leaders of our fabulous country and I want to provide them with the best learning experiences that I can.

My Project

This new iPad Mini will benefit my whole class in so many ways. I can take it home and have everything already on it to teach virtually, if needed. It will allow me to customize learning experiences by using the iPad to go on virtual field trips as a class. To stay organized, I can load our classroom patriotic songs and audiobooks on it to use them with my students remotely, if needed. They love to sing as a class and really enjoying practicing. They will be thrilled to be able to do all this together! And with a few extra pairs of headphones, all of my students will be able to work without distractions on their Chromebooks.

My students faces all light up when we sing and it is so important at this point in the year to stay positive and bring some light into our class!
