With the new year, brings new students. Next year, I will be starting my journey in 1st grade. I can't wait to meet my new group of students! I want to be able to provide them with the best beginning to a new school year possible.
My school is faced with many students who come from low-income families and are limited in their experiences.
Our students never let this define how much they are able to accomplish. My students are hard-working and committed to their learning. Each day, my students come in my classroom with smiles on their faces ready to tackle their day.

I always remember walking into a bright classroom full of life.
I remember looking around the room for the first time, seeing all the brightly colored bulletin boards. I couldn't wait for my work to be placed out for display. I would then walk around from desk to desk, searching for my name. With this project, I will be able to give my students the colorful and bright classroom they deserve. Nameplates will help students feel at home in their new desk. Folders help keep my student's and their desks organized. With these folders, students will have an effective way to organize their classwork and homework.
