My project will be used in a small group setting. Many of my students focus better in a smaller setting away from distractions. These materials will help my students increase their reading skills by using a hands-on approach. This will help students increase their vocabulary and reading fluency. Some of my students have IEP goals to increase their reading comprehension. My students struggle with decoding words and these activities help them build stronger reading skills. There are also math activities that my students will benefit from in this project. Students can use the hands-on math activities to enrich their basic computation skills. Math is an everyday skill that students need to be successful in their lives.
