My Students
I teach at a school that is Title I, and seventy percent of the students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. This project will benefit so many students. We have some really great and eager kids at our school who want to be immersed in learning. I have students from so many diverse backgrounds including students identified with SLD, ADHD, and speech impairment.
Students learn best with activities they enjoy. I want to bring more excitement to learning for my students. I want them to build confidence in themselves and be the best they can be so they all have a bright future ahead.
My Project
My students could use some basic supplies to help them be prepared and organized. They could use folders to help them keep their papers in, so they can easily access them when they need them and it will help them be prepared. Many of my students can’t afford basic supplies so it would be nice to have plenty of markers and glue sticks to keep us learning.
Organization is key to being a successful learner.
Lastly, my kids need scissors. We often do cutting projects and we simply don’t have enough. Giving my students each their own paper can help us get through cutting tasks quicker.
