My Students

Dozens of students needing specialized small group instruction come through my room every week. We provide focused, individualized instruction, but trying to run multiple small groups with one fixed whiteboard and one fixed chalk board is difficult.

These students love the work they do, but they need to be able to focus without the distractions of other kids and adults in the same space.

Hence, the room divider! They would also benefit hugely from the kind of manipulative support we could provide with the magnetic surface.

My Project

We're requesting one large magnetic whiteboard room divider. It's large enough to visually support a small group of students, and it's movable, which gives our room the flexibility we need. It's also magnetic, which allows for more manipulative work than we can do now.

The whiteboard would support our small group work immensely by providing the second, movable whiteboard to use when we need to work with a second group of kids.

The room divider aspect would also help us create a better physical learning space for the students.
