The books consisted of popular new series, missing books from series, and picture books that I read to the class but the Spanish version. During \"Just Right Reading\" time, the students read all around the room enjoying the alternative seating. On Fridays, we do Flashlight Friday: the main lights go out and students read around the room with a flashlight. They LOVE it!\r\n\r\nSince there are 31 students in my class, we are very squished together. Some students need to move away from their assigned seats to the carpet to help them focus and tune out distractions. Having the alternative seating, the floor chairs, gives students back support for students on the carpet. When they can spread out during independent work time, things run smoother for everyone.\r\n\r\nEvery morning when the students enter the classroom, the main lights are off. I only have the fun lights on to create a calming and warm space to start off the day.\r\n\r\nSo much appreciation for supporting me and my students.","fullyFundedDate":1754335966890,"projectUrl":"project/starting-out-the-year-with-complete-book/9500328/","projectTitle":"Starting Out the Year With Complete Books Sets","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Phillips","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7736754_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y342&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1659975483992","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7736754"},{"teacherId":6256233,"projectId":5684319,"letterContent":"I understand that this has been a really long time since I've gotten this project completed, but I am excited to say that these books have been used throughout our kindergarten classrooms.
