My Project

These new books will make a meaningful difference in our classroom by surrounding my first graders with fresh, highly engaging stories that spark their imaginations and take them on new adventures. Through reading, students will have opportunities to laugh, wonder, explore, and connect emotionally with characters and experiences that help them better understand both themselves and others.

My goal is to nurture a lifelong love of reading by creating a classroom library filled with books that students are excited to pick up and read.

I want my students to see reading as a way to explore new worlds, discover new perspectives, and make meaningful connections. My students are curious, connected, capable, enthusiastic, and determined. They bring so much energy and wonder to our classroom, and I want to surround them with books that inspire that same sense of curiosity, joy, and possibility.
