Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Next school year, I will be transitioning from third grade to teaching fifth grade math and science for the first time in a departmentalized setting. I want to start the year by setting them up for success with strong organization, classroom culture, and structure.

Fifth grade is the first year students rotate between classes, and I want them to feel confident and prepared for that transition.

With organized bins, table caddies, and math and science supplies, students will be able to move smoothly between classes while staying focused and responsible. These resources will help create a classroom environment where students can spend less time managing materials and more time engaged in learning.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
