This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are eager learners who love school, but every now and then they need to take a break. This year, we are trying to help every teacher build out a 'Peace Corner' in their classrooms as a welcoming, relaxing space that students can use to take a break when they need one.

This project would provide a new, washable rug to every classroom to make each Peace Corner more welcoming and cozy for students.

Our students deserve to feel comfortable when they choose to take a break and relax throughout the day!
