This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we start to think about the end of the year, I am hoping to use these novels to guide my students into thinking about what inspires them. In seventh grade, we focus on the question, "Who am I?". I want students to be able to read novels of true life events and think about who they hope to be someday. We learn from history.

I want students to be able to dive deep into these stories and identify what their passion is.

Through the variety of novels, I am hoping that each student is able to find something that sparks interest within them.
