This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love coming to school, but sometimes school can be overwhelming and kids need a break. This year we are hoping to help teachers build a 'Peace Corner' in every classroom so that all students have a safe and peaceful place where they can take a break throughout the day.

This project would provide bean bag chairs to every classroom so that students can feel comfortable as they take a break, cool down, or simply relax in their classroom throughout the school day.

Every student deserves to feel comfortable at school!
