My Students

Upon opening the door to our classroom, you'll SEE smiles, dancing, students working AND PLAYING hard; you'll HEAR laughter, conversations, questioning, singing; and you'll FEEL inspired, perhaps exhausted, but definitely motivated to do whatever it takes to meet the varying needs of each and every student!

I teach pre kindergarten students with a variety of special needs.

Students range from those who require moderate modification and assistance with academic skills, to students struggling with sensory, emotional, and behavioral challenges to those who have significant cognitive delays and require assistance with communication, daily living skills, and social and emotional expression. My students are champions for sure, and every day I encourage them to BE YOUnique!

My Project

Early childhood is a time of rapid growth and development, and as teachers, we must take advantage of this opportunity to spark curiosity and learning! Students at this age are naturally inquisitive and eager to explore and when provided with the right materials, results can be astonishing. It is never too early to lay the foundation for problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity and this can be accomplished through play!

Pre K is the perfect time to provide students with the tools and manipulatives that get their brains activated!

The Early Engineering set and K'NEX Education set will provide my young learners with hours of brain-stimulating engineering activities, disguised as creative play and exploration! #winning
