I was so excited to see the joy on my students' faces when we received the books. Knowing that sometimes my students struggle finding a book they enjoy reading, my students are now enjoying the adventures in the books. They look forward to reading the adventures so much they are researching the information diving deeper into the places the characters are traveling to. They look forward to having more collaborative group work as they image to interact with the characters. I am now incorporating more of the other content areas by using these books with my small groups. They feel more confident with each turn of the page and participate without hesitation.\r\n\r\nMy students are smiling and sharing their new success in reading research with other students. These books have changed my students from frustrated readers to confident readers.
