My Students

I have the honor of teaching special education at our school. The kiddos in my classroom come from a wide range of backgrounds and all have different educational needs.

The majority of my students see me for reading, math, and social emotional and or adaptive behavior time.

During their time in my classroom, we like to make it hands on, fun, and prioritize their individual needs. No one learns the exact same and for me, that has been the most fun thing about teaching - incorporating everyone's different learning styles so we can relate more to one another and all learn the best way for us.

My Project

These materials will be used to help my students who have delays or specific learning disabilities in reading and or math. These materials will also benefit everyone who comes to my room with their social emotional and adaptive behavior needs.

I have a lot of sensory seeking kiddos and these materials will make learning to read and learning to do addition and subtraction a lot more bearable for them.

The kiddos who enter my classroom daily have different educational needs. These needs are met with the use of materials such as these on my wishlist.
