My Project

My third graders are about to discover a whole new curriculum in reading, math and science this new school year. They will be learning and retaining new skills, thinking out loud sharing ideas with their classmates.

The new curriculum will require a lot of energy from my students with thinking, retaining ,and communicating with each other.

Their young brains and body will need refueling. The snacks I have chosen will refuel their bodies so that they can continue learning, discovering and sharing what is being taught. The snacks will also provide nourishment for some students who may have to go to other places before they arrive home.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
