My Project

Students attend a Title I urban school. This project will enable our students to work at their own pace using NearPod and earbuds to practice science content with interactive lessons and interactive videos. These lessons offer immediate feedback to the teacher which can help students improve learning outcomes and increase their engagement with the content.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

NearPod will be used during the study of Earth's structure; the study of Earth's history; and processes that shape the Earth's surface including: continental drift, seafloor spreading and plate tectonics. These topics can be difficult to conceptualize and interactive programming will allow students with varied learning styles to be successful.
