Mystery Math Drills

My students need whiteboard erase markers and erasers to be able to participate in math drills, as practice before an assessment, to better prepare them for the CST!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

With the budget cuts LAUSD is currently under, our classroom supplies are limited, hindering the activities that I use to increase my student math scores.

My 6th grade students are attending a middle School in Granada Hills, CA.

They are high achieving students in need of diversity in their daily learning process. White Board activities for math are a great way to get them motivated and excited about math.

My Project

The white board activities range from self assessment, to group instruction. Doing this has encouraged students to speak up when they are not clear on a concept, and has allowed other students to voice different methods of solving the same type of problem.

Your donations will make a difference, because it will allow my students to practice math skills, while allowing them to learn different methods of solving math problems in preparation for the California States Standards Test.
