This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Students are inner city kids in pretty much the poorest part of Dallas. South Dallas- Oak Cliff. I myself am from California and have somehow ended up here in Dallas where I have fallen in love with these kids.

My students range from 1st-5th graders.

They attend public school and rarely get to travel or see the outside world. Movies or the Internet is really their only chance to see the world at large. To understand that life can be more then just a broken down lifestyle and neighborhood.

My Project

I want to be able to show their true beauty on film. To show their true talents and abilities to their families and friends. We currently try to show small video's at our Culminating Events we do once a month. But my video camera is fairly poor. I have so much video and editing know how, We just need a better camera, preferably HD to help out.
