My Project

Greetings! I teach Special Education in New York! I teach both Social Studies and Art to a self contained middle school class. I have truly loved getting to teach the art class this year because it has given my students the opportunity to express themselves, share about their lives and be creative.

Unfortunately, I was on maternity leave when classroom budgets were given out, so I did not receive any funding for my classroom this year.

We would greatly appreciate if you could help us stock our classroom to make some awesome art! You will see that I am requesting art supplies (crayons, markers, pencils, paper, glue etc.) to help us create some special projects and explore our talents. I am also requesting some organizational items (work and paper organizer) as our classroom is shared with other classes.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
