My Project

My students are excited to come to music class on a weekly basis. The school I work in is in a larger inner city and over half of my students are English language learners, come from diverse backgrounds, some non-verbal, and have varying academic and social needs. Music is an outlet for them to express themselves. I would love to provide them with new and engaging resources to further their development in music. The LCD writing tablets would be a great way for them to create musical notation by drawing the notes and symbols that we are working on in class. The tablets are colorful and eye catching and are a different way to draw and write rather than using paper and pencil which can be a bit more difficult with my students who are struggling. These tablets come with a stylus, but students can use their finger to draw with also. Using these materials will boost my students knowledge of music in a fun, engaging way.
