Our classroom family in in a high school setting with students ranging from 10th-12th grade and our students will remain in our classroom until they age out at 21 years old. Our students have a range of abilities, but are limited cognitively, socially, and physically.
We are a family in this classroom.
We take care of each other and work on building each other up. Our focus is on life skills and trying to become more independent individuals in our everyday life.
My Project
These items are things that I buy every year to add a little pizzazz to my classroom. The essential oils will be used in our diffusor to make our classroom calm. The markers and the colored paper will be used in our many art projects-and how cool is it that the markers smell! I am all about giving my students with severe and multiple disabilities access to things through different approaches. These items will do just that!
