This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been so excited to learn more about multimedia and all the opportunities that are out there in that career field. We need another camera so we can take photos for our yearbook and to add to our daily morning show production. We have an extra lens already and just need the body of the camera. I also have a couple of students who want to enter a photography contest and having a second camera will allow them to both practice their skills!

This equipment will provide 21st century skills that will support lifelong learning experiences and prepare the students for potential media and communication careers for future employment.

The future careers are in digital literacy, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, creativity and imagination.
