My Project

My school district has adopted a new reading curriculum, many of the suggested read aloud texts are not provided. These texts would be very beneficial to my classroom. The texts are aligned to social studies standards and also have multicultural representations of characters. My school is a Global School, we have a wide variety of cultures. I would love to have this variety of texts that represent the diverse backgrounds and cultures in my classroom. When a student is able to see themselves in a character it validates themselves in the world and students learn about the cultures of others as well. Thank you for supporting my children!
