Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students LOVE seeing themselves represented in literature books! These resources will help my students see themselves in these books, posters, and instruments! We will read about multicultural families, make inferences, and make up songs about each book we read! We are bringing reading and writing skills and adding creativity when creating songs about the topics we learn about! Cha-Cha-Cha! Knowing about each others’ differences will help us learn about each other- we learn about our true selves and furthermore accept others!

My students need racial representation in diverse literature books, posters, and instruments!
