Help me give my students more books to explore! They know me as, "That crazy book lady!" And ask me every day for more books to read. Help me give them what they're asking for.

My Project

I love that students call me "The Crazy Book Lady!" I love that when they see me, they ask, "Are you coming to read to us today?" or "Are you sending readers into our classroom today?" and "Did you get any new books for us?"

I'm requesting a variety of books from different cultures.

I know that we can increase students' vocabulary and writing skills by exposing them to various cultures and adventures through books. They are excited about literature. They listen to authors read (digital read aloud). We have various readers come in to read and we have staff members come to read to them as well.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
