Much Needed Classroom Supplies to Close the Educational Gap

My Project

My students are hard-working and motivated; however, we are in desperate need of some basic classroom supplies to help close the educational gap as a result of Covid. Students need to feel safe, cared for, and deserve to have the supplies needed to master today's complex math and science concepts. In our classroom we will use the computer cart to keep the computer steady as I work live examples. I will use the chart paper to keep different examples of problems available for scholars at all levels. The locked cabinet will secure the snacks I purchase out of the hands of middle schoolers in the building, and we will use the dry erase boards to confidently conquer fractions together! We are all working hard to close the educational gap that exists as a result of the pandemic. My students deserve to have the things they need in a classroom to thrive and learn and that includes hand sanitizer to keep germs at bay along with tissues for noses so as not to keep running to the bathroom and missing valuable instructional time.
