My Students

The children in our after-school program are from a low socioeconomic area, with 100% of students receiving free lunch. We are located in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia. My students are absolutely amazing and deserve to experience everything the world has to offer! They are so resilient and focused even after their long day of school, they are still ready and engaged for some awesome STEM activities!

My Project

I teach STEAM to our after-school program students that range from 1st to 5th grade. My students are incredibly hard workers who have spent an entire school day learning, and then after come to our program for homework assistance, and after school enrichment. I teach STEAM to our students, and this project would help stock my classroom with amazing, and diverse materials to help expand my student's knowlege about science, math, arts, and technology! These materials can be reused, and will greatly benefit our program for many years to come!
