My Project

I teach reading to 48 students. I want my classroom to be warm and cozy and safe. In fourth grade, we are reading to learn. I believe learning should be fun! My goal in this project is to brighten up our room and make 4th grade a fun place to be.

Kids hate fluorescent lights, so we usually keep them off.

I’d love to brighten the room with blue sky and cloud light covers.

I’d love to add brightly colored stools the kids can use to work around our classroom.

The kids love Who Was and I Survived books. I’d love to add more to choose from! I also picked out other books I think they would love. Every opportunity I can get them to read is a win!

I added organization for our reading centers. I’d like students to be able to find what they need and get right to work. The plastic organizers and bags will help with this!

Finally, what’s a classroom without a prize bin? I’d love some toys and candy to add to the prize bin. The look on their faces when they earn a special incentive is priceless.
