These resources provide engaging ways for students to enjoy their breaks while developing teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and sportsmanship.\r\n\r\nMy students have been enjoying the new equipment during outdoor recess and using the indoor games during rainy days or when we need an indoor activity. From playing soccer and kickball to enjoying games like Scrabble and other fun group activities, the students have more opportunities to stay active, think creatively, and work together. One of the most rewarding parts has been watching them learn to take turns, encourage one another, and celebrate each other's successes.These moments remind me that learning continues even when students are outside the classroom or taking a break from academic work.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their excitement was contagious! They were eager to see all the different activities available and could not wait to try them out. The variety of equipment gave them something to look forward to and helped make recess even more enjoyable. As a teacher, it is a joy to see students excited about opportunities that allow them to move, explore, laugh, and connect with their peers.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, I look forward to incorporating these resources into our classroom community by encouraging teamwork, practicing good sportsmanship, and helping students develop positive friendships. After spending time working hard on reading, writing, and social studies, students benefit from opportunities to recharge and return to learning refreshed and ready to focus. Students have learned that capital letters are composed of 4 basic structures: big lines, little lines, big curves, and small curves. The Build a Letter and Magnetic letters materials provided them a chance to practice building the uppercase alphabet. Students have enjoyed learning about new sight words and then making them with play dough. There are no tears, and we still have more to incorporate. \r\nNext week, students will start practicing our sight words with the sand trays and writing our lowercase letters on the magic writing boards.\r\nThanks for your support!
