My Project

I love helping my students make connections with novels and reading. I try to help them, collaborate with one another and work together while building their literacy. I am excited to try out some lamination on their work so they can use dry erase marker and mark up the text together.

We are working with students that are below grade level and dry erase markers are great way to help them learn without the concreteness of paper.

They love to work on their skills using these dry erase boards and I do not have enough for my class.

I also would love to build my class library, so students have access to many different levels of text and can grow their understanding and reading comprehension! My students challenge each other to read 30 books every year and so having good quality novels is important in my classroom.
