My Students

Welcome to my third grade class! My school is a Title I school. My students receive free breakfast and lunch and we have school supplies donated for our babies. They never go without and if so I always make it happen for them. They are loving and eager to learn. Third graders are so much fun. My students love reading books by Robert Munch and playing math games. I have 18 students FULL of energy and curiosity. They are loved!

My Project

My students are young and energetic. They need to get up from their desk and move around. Carpet time in my class is an exciting time where stories come to life. We bond on the carpet and we share openly on the carpet. I would love for my class to have a classroom carpet that belongs in a classroom. With no PTO and limited funding I can not afford a classroom rug for my class. My 3rd grade babies deserve the absolute best and I can not provide that for them. While this breaks my heart, I do know that my students are appreciative of anything.. a carpet remnant or small rug. They are happy. I want them to experience a classroom with a rug that holds everyone and facilitates learning.
