My Project

I teach first grade and this year they are working hard on learning how to read. I have an amazing group of students who are excited to be at school and ready to learn. I would love to get some hands-on activities to help my students make growth in both reading and math.

First graders need hands-on learning materials to make learning meaningful and engaging.

I want to use the phonics match ups, read and touch, and puzzles during centers. This will help students stay engaged and learn to read. I will use the math match-ups and puzzles for math centers to help with addition and subtraction fluency.
