Help me give my students a rug that will be bright to help welcome our new faces! We spend a lot of time together on our rug; learning, growing, and building friendships!

My Project

Every day, my students gather on our classroom rug for morning meetings, read-alouds, phonics lessons, math instruction, small-group activities, and class discussions. It serves as the heart of our classroom, where we build relationships, practice important skills, and create a positive learning community. Unfortunately, our current rug has become worn from years of daily use and no longer provides the comfortable, inviting space my students deserve. A new classroom rug would give my students a clean, safe, and engaging place to learn, collaborate, and grow together. Creating a welcoming environment helps students stay focused, encourages participation, and fosters a love of learning. This simple addition would make a meaningful impact on our classroom every single day and benefit every child who walks through our door.
