This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We hear music everywhere we go, from the birds singing in the tree to the music we play in the car. Studies have shown that exposure to a variety of music helps with language and sounds. Music and movement help the mind and body work together.
Exposing my students to different instruments will give them another creative outlet.
We will use these instruments to create rhythms and the strobe light will add fun to our Fun Friday Dance Parties. We will use the scarves and ribbons to aid in our music and movement while bringing color to the classroom.
