My students walk into class every day with excitement, ready to learn, and full of wonder about what the day has in store. I tell them, "If something is hard or you can't do it yet, it's because you haven't learned how. Don't give up!" I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.
I teach at a Title I school in Northern California where many of our amazing students come from bilingual households and over 40 percent receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch.
They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.
My Project
My students love to move, whether it is in the classroom, out at recess or during our weekly P.E. time. I try to give them as many opportunities as possible to get their little bodies moving. The jump ropes will be great to add to recess for a large motor activity to practice.
It really helps them concentrate on the task at hand during sit down focused learning times.
It also helps with those children who have extra energy they need to release to focus. That is why I chose equipment that can be used indoors and outdoors. The stability pads, core pilates cards and agility ladders will be great for weekly P.E. activities and will also be a wonderful edition to our indoor learning breaks.
We are excited to get moving with new equipment! Thank you for your consideration.
