Help me give my students guided reading tools to help increase motivation and reading fluency. Help us organize our reading games and materials with organizing supplies and a classroom laminator.
My students range from grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. They all bring special gifts, abilities, and talents to make up unique and loving groups of students that I have the pleasure of seeing each day!
I work with students to help them improve their reading skills and help them build confidence in their reading abilities.
Small groups of students see me each day, in which I provide them with extra reading practice and intervention strategies to help them build upon their reading skills. My hope is that they leave feeling more confident and apply their skills out in the real world.
My Project
All of my students deserve to walk into a space that is organized and ready for learning to take place. The binders and pocket folders will provide students with organized material and reading games. The laminator will provide quick and easy access to laminate our fun reading games, fluency cards, and sight word cards that will last many years to come.
I want my students to feel like my room was created for them because they are important to me and their learning is important.
The finger puppets, slinky toys, pens, and light fingers will motivate and help guide students during their reading. Slinky toys help students stretch out sounds and blend words. Bingo chips allow students to manipulate and blend sounds and syllables. Light fingers and puppet fingers give students a fun and engaging way to track during readings. Students love using the multi-colored gel pens to make their marks during close reading activities. This allows students to color code text according to the skill we are working on.
