This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are learning to self-reflect on their performance in the classroom. My students "Check Out" with me every time they leave small group time with me. In this small group time, the only things I require of them are that they are respectful to the teacher and my other students, they are focused on their work and they tried their best. Based on how many of those questions they can say yes to they receive a star per question. Once the students have 49 stars on their star charts they are allowed to trade in their star chart for a prize in the prize bucket. This is something that my students look forward to earning. Please help my students learn to be self-reflective and motivated to learn.
