My Project

This project will provide my students with snacks to enjoy during snack time. It is important that they have a snack so that they can recharge their working brains.

More than half of my students come from low-income households and their parents/guardians are unable to provide them with a snack.

Instead, they rely on free breakfast and lunch from the school. Having a snack available such as fruit snacks and granola bars will help my students stay focused, give them necessary nutrients, and keeps their hunger at bay. This all contributes to their work performance in the classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
