Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We expect a lot from our students, one of those being sitting through 85-minute periods from 8:40 to 1:10 pm; that is a long time for any adult, much fewer teenagers, to go without having a chance to snack.

However, this is one of the many challenges of being in a shared building where unfortunately our student's lunch period is very late in the day.

Having these snacks handy in my classroom will give students a safe space to come and ask for an in-between-period snack or to feel comfortable enough to ask in class for a quick snack.

Our goal is to have enough snacks to provide for our students until Spring Break. We are almost there!
