My Students

My AP_Calculus BC class started three years ago. My students are mostly minorities inner city. The population of the school is free or reduced lunch. They perform well on the AP exams and I hope that it will continue. The books that we got three years ago were paperback and they are falling apart. I need a new set of books for my class next fall. They come to class and prepared to learn everyday. They are my best math students in school and this is the most difficult class that school offer. They deserve a new set of books.

My Project

Your donation will help my students prepare better for higher education. Many of my students are either first generation or low income. When they passed the AP exams with a three or better they will receive either four or eight college credits from various colleges. Those credits will help my students finish school earlier or advance faster in higher education. Those credits save them a lot of money and they can use that money for something else if they need to. My ultimate goal is for them to succeed in life and getting a good education is the first step. I will do my absolute best making sure that they are prepared for that challenge.
