My students are imaginative and creative. They come from diverse backgrounds, and they work hard and take pride in their education. Their families work hard to provide what they need to succeed and get the most out of their time at school.
My passion is to encourage and empower all of my students to reach their greatest potential.
My students always deserve to get the best out of their educational experience. I strive to provide lessons, activities, and the environment to help them grow to their greatest potential.
This is a continuation of my project Biographies for Books Groups. In my 4th and 5th grade ELA classes, we are looking to extend our reading into biographies in small groups! My students will do a book tasting activity, where they will have a few minutes to spend with each of the Who Was titles. They will then mark down their top three choices. I will use their selection and reasoning to place them into five different small book groups.
Being in a small group to read a biography will allow my students to get personalized help from me and stay engaged with their peers as they learn about fascinating historical figures.
Your donation to this project will help buy the books needed to start these small groups and foster a love of reading in my students. I'll be able to use these resources for many years to come.
