Models and Manipulatives

Help me give my students models and manipulatives after a year of virtual learning that was not hands-on with Post-it easel, microscopes, and pocket microscopes.

My Students

Students in my classrooms are in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. We have students from all over the island attending our school. Each student at our school is unique and each one comes to our school for their own unique reason.

My Project

After a year of virtual learning, students need hands-on materials and manipulatives to design and create 2D and 3D learning models. My purchases will allow students to work with physical models then design and create their own. Students will have the resources to develop displays. The student-friendly microscopes will permit students in life science to then explore at the microscopic level. After discovering life at the microscopic level, students can create macroscopic examples. This is an important component of the NGSS science standards that we are using in all of our courses.
