Mobile Home wanted! We have the drivers just need the mobile home. I am a 4th grade Special Education teacher who struggles every year trying to customize the classroom to suit the needs of my different learners. My school is filled with supportive teachers who are committed to teaching but sometimes you just can't invent everything you need out of construction paper and glue. In a special education setting we are constantly trying to afford students an environment of small group work in order to address their different learning needs directly and effectively. So the ability to have mobile resources to easily convert the classroom into a situation that is needed, for example like "2 mini classrooms" would be ideally the best solution to help our students learn within an environment that they really need to be in. The inability to create this situation because we don't have 2 blackboards, or the time it would take for students to reorganize their desks for a particular learning situation is chaotic which creates more confusion for our learners. We have resorted to using chart paper on walls but you need the wall space and you can't erase on chart paper thus another dilemma!! If we could just have our mobile easel, our whole classroom no matter where a child is sitting would become a "mobile home" instantly to create a small group lesson. Your help in acquiring this resource would make a drastic positive difference for my students, myself, and their co-teacher. It's a worthwhile cause we promise to drive safely......
